JOB DESCRIPTION: BOOKKEEPER AND OFFICE MANAGER

Dunleavy Bespoke specialise in the design and manufacture of luxury free-standing furniture pieces and exclusive interior fitouts. This ambitious team and family-run business are growing and now require the support of an office manager with a strong financial skillset.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare       Terms: Permanent | Part-Time, hours flexible

Essential Experience

  • Be responsible for all aspects of Sales, including raising invoices and chasing payments
  • Be responsible for all aspects of purchases, including purchase invoice processing & payments via XXX banking system
  • Complete month-end routine, prepare monthly management reports
  • Be capable of drafting annual financial plans and cash flow projections
  • Monitor timesheets, allocate to project costs
  • Manage all aspects of payroll and provide management with monthly reports
  • Preparation and filing of VAT, RTD, RCT, VIES, Intrastat, customs documentation and other relevant reports for Revenue

 

Essential Attributes

  • Lead compliance with relevant legal requirements, advise management on adherence and enforcement
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of tax liabilities
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, project management, the ability to problem-solve and a growth mindset
  • Have extensive experience using accounting packages and Microsoft Office Suite, and be exceptionally IT literate
  • Demonstrate strong numerical acumen, an ability to create and enforce budgets, identify inefficiencies
  • Self-starter who can work on own initiative

 

Desirable

  • Be fluent in digital marketing and e-commerce
  • Have the ability to prepare tender/pitch documents and comprehensive quotations
