Commissioning


At Dunleavy Bespoke we aim to make the process of commissioning a piece of furniture an enjoyable and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
From initial stages we work with the client in a close collaboration, ensuring their influence is inherent in the finished piece. This client involvement results in a very personalised finished article with an added sentimental value.

The process usually begins with a visit to the client’s home or location for the desired piece. Here we can get a feel for the practical and aesthetical requirements as well as the client’s own personal tastes and styles.

Following this meeting we will return with sketches, samples and models if necessary. When the design has been finalised working drawings together with costing and schedule will be produced. On approval a 30% deposit is required; this covers initial costs and materials. Final payment is made on delivery.
